时间是江户时代。日本桥屈指可数的大店长崎屋的少东家“一太郎”，自出生时就体弱多病，无法随意外出。而白泽和犬神等妖怪们一直陪伴在一太郎身边保护着他。某天晚上，偷偷外出的一太郎目击到一起凶杀。自那天起，江户就不断地发生各种诡异的杀人案件……在妖怪们的帮助下，一太郎开始搜查凶手。。The film is based loosely around events in December 1995 that culminated in the murders of three drug dealers in Rettendon, Essex, UK. On 6th December Patrick Tate, Craig Rolfe and Tony Tucker, three drug dealers well known to the police, were lured to Workhouse Lane, Rettendon.
