The absurdities of the plot, the sequoia-like quality of the acting and the prevalence of historical,musical and linguis...。满秋（颜丙燕饰）是村里有名的贤惠媳妇，丈夫郭志刚（宋佳伦饰）在外打工，她辛勤操持着家中的一切，抚养子女，孝顺婆婆，礼敬亲朋。可是最终被另结新欢的志刚抛弃。满秋带着儿子小满来城里寻夫未果，而大城市最终成了她另一个牵绊。为了生计，满秋先在乔向东（李杰饰）开的饭店工作，一场误会过后得到了马主任（李坤霖饰）的帮助，成为了马家的保姆。小满也和马立本的儿子奋斗成为了好朋友。勤劳的女人上天也会垂怜，满秋凭借自己的勤奋与努力渐渐积攒出自己的事业。她一心要将小满培养成才，为此不惜牺牲自己的爱情，却不曾想儿子也在物质社会的大潮中放纵堕落…… 本片根据真实事件改编而成。。
