本片由金馬影帝李修賢自導自演，是一部80年代初「烈火戰車」式的賽車片。故事描述跛足之摩托車行東主師傅才（李修賢），對學徒阿昌（麥德羅）甚為賞識，更在每年一度的澳門賽車，助昌奪標。後知師傅才曾是東南亞十大車手之一，因一次賽車意外受傷導致殘廢。師傅才聞悉昌參與非法賽車，忙予規勸，然昌因盛名所累，欲罷不能……。陈芊忆30岁时遭车祸，发现老公江志东和小三王一娇蓄意谋杀她，却意外穿越到5年前。利用唱片公司老板顾星辰，同时与江、王周旋。在顾的帮助下，她化解重重困难，赢得选秀比赛，发现顾也穿越而来。最终，陈芊忆成为明星，与顾走向幸福，江志东和王一娇受惩。。White Lies is described as an “urgent exploration of race and privilege, inequality and identity.” Set in the wealthy neighbourhood of Bishopscourt, Cape Town, the series is described as following investigative journalist Edie Hansen (Dormer) as she gets caught up in the ugly underbelly that lies beneath the picturesque beauty of the city, dragging her back to a turbulent past....。
